EVALUASI KINERJA HUSKER TIPE DOUBLE PASS KAPASITAS 1000 – 1200 Kg/Jam

Rice is the staple food of majority Indonesian population. processed from paddy rice through several stages, starting harvesting, threshing, cleaning, drying, stripping husk, polishing, and packaging. Processing mechanically increases production reduces yield losses. Husker one machines used to remove chaff (the outer husks) grains rice. This study aims evaluate performance a double pass husker machine with 1000-1200 kg per hour in Sonorejo Village, Padangan District, Bojonegoro Regency. has been operated for five years, whether engine's still according SNI standards or decreased its economic life. Parameters observed this include grain weight, feeding time, weight time stripping, quality brown rice, fuel consumption. The data obtained were analyzed obtain value capacity, efficiency, rate consumption, then descriptively. results evaluation showed capacity 996.4 ±1.5 kg/hour, 768 ± 20.1 efficiency 76.1±1.5 %, 83.3±0.65 consumption 2.07±0.05 l/hour. percentage 74.7±1.26, correspondingly requirements at least 70%. huskers that feasible operate.
